1. Introduction
At Ilfracombe Dustbusters, we aim to deliver high-quality cleaning at every visit.
If you are not satisfied with part of your clean, we offer a free re-clean guarantee within specific conditions outlined below. This policy ensures fairness and clarity for both our clients and our business.
2. What the Free Re-Clean Guarantee Covers
Our free re-clean guarantee applies when:
A specific area was genuinely missed or not cleaned to the expected standard
The booking was long enough to realistically complete the tasks listed
The client reports the issue within the required time
The area was accessible and not obstructed at the time of the clean
We will return to re-clean the identified areas free of charge as quickly as possible.
3. Reporting an Issue
3.1 Timeframe
You must report any concerns within 24 hours of the clean being completed. This ensures the condition of the property is unchanged and we can fairly assess the issue.

Photos/videos of the areas concerned
A brief explanation of what was missed
This helps us investigate and resolve the issue quickly.
4. Situations Not Covered by the Guarantee
The free re-clean does not apply if:
The booking time was insufficient to complete the requested tasks
The property was misdescribed at the time of booking
Areas were inaccessible or cluttered
Items have been moved or the property has been used since the clean
The issue relates to long-term grime, mould, limescale or damage
The clean required specialist equipment we do not provide
The client has added new mess after the clean
The problem is caused by structural, appliance or maintenance issues
The issue was caused by pets, weather or additional dirt introduced after service
We cannot guarantee results on heavy build-up, stains or materials that are permanently marked.
5. Areas That Require Specialist Cleaning
Our standard guarantee does not cover areas requiring specialist treatment, including:
Heavy carbon build-up in ovens
Large-scale mould
Extreme limescale
Biohazards
Carpet and upholstery stains
Exterior window cleaning
Deep extractor or appliance dismantling
We do not operate as a specialist oven cleaning service; extremely soiled ovens may not reach a βlike newβ standard.
6. Re-Clean Process
If your request qualifies for a re-clean, we will:
Review your report and photos
Confirm the areas to be revisited
Arrange a suitable time to return
Re-clean the identified areas only
Ensure the work meets our standards
Re-cleans do not include additional tasks beyond the original booking.
7. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds in place of a re-clean.
Our free re-clean guarantee is the resolution offered for any concerns raised within policy guidelines.
8. Fair Use & Abuse of Policy
We reserve the right to withdraw the guarantee if:
Issues are repeatedly raised without justification
Requests are made outside the 24-hour window
Evidence shows misuse, additional mess or property changes after cleaning
The guarantee is attempted for areas not included in the original service
This policy is designed to protect both clients and our business.
